What people bring us
People from Hillsborough often come in feeling worn down by things they have been managing alone. They may be dealing with worry that will not settle, relationship stress, or experiences that keep showing up in the body. Some are looking for a place to talk without being rushed. Others want support that can include experiential work when words are not enough.
- I am always bracing for something to go wrong.
- I keep having the same fights or pullbacks.
- I feel it in my body before I can explain it.
- I am ready to talk, but I do not know where to start.
Getting started from there
We begin with a conversation about what is bringing you in and what kind of support feels important. You do not have to have it all sorted out before the first session. We will decide together what to focus on and how to approach it.
We offer a free 15-minute consultation. We respond as soon as we can.
Questions people ask
Can therapy help if I feel things in my body more than in my head?
Yes, we can work with what you notice in your body as part of the session. That can be especially helpful when words feel limited or do not seem to reach the whole experience.
Do you offer relationship help for couples?
Yes, we work with couples as well as individuals and families. We pay attention to the patterns that show up between people and how each person is affected.
What is equine therapy like?
It is experiential work alongside horses, with room to notice what happens as you interact, pause, and reflect. We use those moments as part of the therapy rather than as something extra.
What if I am nervous about starting therapy?
That is common, and you do not need to have everything ready. We will begin with what feels most important and keep the pace workable.
