What people bring us

People across the Triangle often come in when they want more than advice or a quick fix. They may be dealing with relationship strain, anxiety that keeps showing up in daily life, or a sense that old experiences are still shaping the present. Some are looking for therapy that feels active and grounded. Others want to work in a way that includes more than talking alone.

  • I want something deeper than just talking it out.
  • I keep repeating the same patterns.
  • I feel disconnected from myself in the middle of stress.
  • I am looking for mental health support that fits me better.

Getting started from there

Our first conversations are about what is bringing you in and what kind of work feels most usable. You do not need to come in with everything sorted or with a clear label for what is happening. We will talk through what feels most important and decide together where to begin.

We offer a free 15-minute consultation. We respond as soon as we can.

Questions people ask

Is this the kind of counseling that works for anxiety and trauma?

We work with people who are looking for support with anxiety, trauma, and the patterns that come with them. The approach depends on what feels relevant for you and how you want to work.

Do you offer healing with horses?

We offer equine-assisted psychotherapy, which is experiential work alongside horses. We use the interaction, observation, and reflection as part of the session.

What if I am looking for mental health support but do not know what kind?

That is okay. We can start by talking through what is happening and what kind of support you are hoping for.

Can couples or families do this work too?

Yes, we work with couples and families as well as individuals and groups. The focus changes depending on who is in the room and what needs attention.
