Anxiety therapy for when your mind will not settle
If you feel keyed up, stuck in loops, or unable to relax even when nothing is happening, we can work with that. We pay attention to what anxiety feels like in your body, your thoughts, and your day-to-day life.

What people bring us
Anxiety can make simple things feel hard to start, hard to finish, or hard to enjoy. You may be on alert in your body, second-guess yourself, or replay conversations long after they are over. Some people feel it as restlessness; others feel shut down and overwhelmed. We look at the patterns that keep the pressure going.
- My mind does not know how to stop.
- I feel tense before anything even happens.
- I keep replaying every conversation.
- I can’t relax, even when I have time.
We pay attention to what your nervous system is doing, not just what you are thinking.
How we work with it
We work with anxiety in a way that stays connected to both thought and body. That may mean slowing things down, tracking sensations, or noticing the moments when your system shifts into overdrive. For some people, the work is very talk-based; for others, we bring in more experiential methods. With couples or families, we also look at how anxiety gets passed around or pulls people into familiar roles.
- Somatic Therapy
- We use body awareness to notice where anxiety shows up and how it moves through you. That can include breath, posture, and the physical signs of strain or settling.
- Neurocounseling
- We use nervous-system language to understand why your body may stay activated even when your mind wants calm. This gives us another way to work with patterns that feel automatic.
- Brainspotting
- We may use a focused, less verbal process when anxiety feels hard to untangle by talking alone. The work stays attuned to what your body and attention are doing in the moment.
What the first sessions look like
In the first sessions, we talk about how anxiety shows up for you and what tends to set it off. We also notice how your body responds, what you already try to do to cope, and what kind of support feels like a fit. You do not need to arrive with the right words for it.
We offer a free 15-minute consultation. We respond as soon as we can.
Questions people ask
Is anxiety therapy only for panic or constant worry?
No. People come in for many different forms of anxiety, including tension, overthinking, and feeling on edge.
What if I can explain my anxiety but still feel stuck?
That is common. We can work with what you understand and what still happens anyway.
Will you just tell me to calm down?
No. We take your experience seriously and work with it in a more careful way than that.
Can anxiety affect my relationships too?
Yes. Anxiety can shape how you communicate, avoid, overexplain, or pull away.
